You will then be scheduled to come and meet your therapist for your initial assessment. Your provider will set up a treatment plan for you in regards to next sessions and treatment plan goals.

What Mental health services do you provide?

LightHouse WholeHealth offers many modalities by our highly trained therapist that include Couples, Marriage and Family Systems, Gottman trained therapist, Trauma Systems Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), Behavioral, Attachment and Emotion Focused Therapy, Anger Management, Solution Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Grief and Loss, and Group Therapy.

Can I leave my child during therapy sessions?

Great question! You and your therapist will discuss this when and how it may be greatly beneficial for you to observe or be a part of your child's therapy. At times, and with certain skills, it might be more beneficial for your child to have individual time with their therapist.

She has experience working in outpatient, crisis intervention, foster, adoption, family systems, premarital, marital, perinatal and postnatal and intensive in home therapy and group therapy. She holds a contract with the VA to work with individuals and their families that have served in the military. Jennifer offers bilingual (Spanish) Evidence based modalities that include Marriage and Family Systems, EMDR, TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), Behavioral, Attachment and Emotion Focused Therapy, Anger Management, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Systems Therapy (TST), Play Therapy & group Therapy. Marlo Trudgeon is a certified speech language pathologist and an active member of American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) with 25 years of experience. She has owned a successful private practice, Talk to Me Speech Language llc, in Arvada for the past 6 years where she has an ongoing waitlist for services. Prior to her private practice, she worked in a variety of settings, including Children’s Hospital clinics, schools, and Early Intervention. She specializes in Childhood Apraxia of Speech and is recognized for her expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS) from the National organization, Apraxia-Kids.
